AWN has learned that Pam Coats contract has not been renewed as svp of creative development at Walt Disney Feature Animation. Meanwhile, Susan Butterworth has been in charge of development since January.
Coats held her position since 1999 and TARZAN was the first feature she developed. Prior to that she was a producer (MULAN) and associate producer (the Roger Rabbit short TRAIL MIX-UP).
Bill Desowitz, former editor of VFXWorld, is currently the Crafts Editor of IndieWire.
