The Ottawa International Animation Festival (OIAF) is getting ready to welcome animators from all over the world beginning October 2nd. In addition to screenings, retrospectives and panels, Ottawa will host special exhibits such as the graphic art of renowned animator Igor Kovalyov, the director of several award-winning independent films such as BIRD IN THE WINDOW and THE FLYING NANSEN. His art will be showcased at the historical City Registry Building throughout the festival. If you are attending the festival, AWN will be exhibiting at the Animarket and festivalgoers are encouraged to stop by the AWN booth to say hello.
