Press Release from Creative Talent Network Animation Expo

The Creative Talent Network Animation Expo (CTN-X) once again puts the talent center stage in the City of Burbank for ONLY 3-days beginning Friday, November 18th - Sunday, November 20th, 2011.

We are especially proud to present in a CTN US Exclusive Appearance Legendary Independent Director, Animator and Illustrator Oscar Grillo arriving from London in an inspirational career interview that promises to be amazing and French Graphic Novel Creator Regis Loisel for his first US appearance, and a special exclusive presentation of "The Life and Work of Ralph Macquarrie" through the words and experiences of those who shared the design stage with this great man and the let's welcome the classically trained and prolific Character Designer Florian Satzinger from Austria and Animator and Independent Filmmaker Ryan Woodward just to name a few. We have many more amazing presenters and special guest artists plus over 100 artist exhibitors planned but we don't want to shoot our wad in one newsletter and just want to give you a taste of what we have planned. More will be announced each week but many people ask why CTNx is designed the way it is. Why isn't it larger? Why isn't this just open to everyone? What's with all the different types of professional artists?

"During my 30 year career in animation I was privileged to have been being given the arena to walk into the offices of some of the most talented contributors in our industry. To watch create, learn from and enjoy the luxury of asking their advice. Because of exactly that I designed and launched CTNX to recreate that sensation and celebrate it by bringing this very special group of highly talented and versatile artists together under one roof for 3-days. The goal?  To provide that feeling that you just walked into the greatest studio in the world and are being given a once in a lifetime opportunity to enjoy amazing access to some of the best talent and resources. These artists all have one thing in common. They either are currently working in, or have worked in or have inspired our animation community. They are an un-renewable resource and it is a moment in time that I get to provide to you and say thank you to them for being so great. But a picture is worth 1000 words so check it out.  http://vimeo.com/26483047   Tina Price, Founder of CTN
