THE GREAT ADVENTURES OF BERT AND ERNIE, produced by Sesame Workshop, German public broadcaster NDR and Kika, and UK Five's preschool block Milkshake, will debut on SESAME STREET in the U.S. this August.
Available for acquisition, the five-minute segments were originally created for international broadcast focuses on friendship, understanding and respecting differing perspectives, and resolving conflict. Viewers will see best buddies, Bert and Ernie, like never before as they travel beyond their apartment at 123 Sesame Street and into a world of adventure and exploration.
The claymation segments are animated by the award-winning company Misseri Studio, based in Italy and produced by Sesame Workshop's Senior Exec Producer, Arlene Sherman. Kids all around the globe can also learn and share the adventures with Bert and Ernie.
New deals for BERT AND ERNIE'S GREAT ADVENTURES include: Buena Vista International Inc. in Spain, Brunei, Cambodia, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Mongolia, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Thailand and Vietnam; Turner Entertainment Network Asia in Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka; Canal + Cyfrowy SP. Z.O.O in Poland; Kuwait Television in Kuwait; Qatar Television in Qatar; Australia Broadcasting Corp. in Australia; Danish Broadcasting Corp. in Denmark; Nederlandse omroep Strichting in Netherlands; and Sveriges Television AB in Norway and Sweden.
Pre-sale deals were previously made with Cartoon Network in India, DR-TV in Denmark, Disney Asia, Disney Spain, HOP in Israel, NPS/Zeppelin in the Netherlands, NRK in Norway, and SVT in Sweden.

Kids will see the dynamic duo taking turns and sharing ideas while they journey to exotic locations and meet new and diverse characters.
