In the direct-to-video sequel to the 2006 feature, OPEN SEASON 2 follows the "wild animals" as they face the "domestic pets" in a battle for everyone's favorite wiener dog, Mr. Weenie, and introduces a new set of furry characters including Fifi (Crispin Glover), the bitter toy poodle, and Roberto (Steven Schirripa), a basset hound with a slobbering problem.
After falling head over hooves in love with Giselle (Jane Krakowski), Elliot's (Joel McHale) road to the altar takes a slight detour when Mr. Weenie (Cody Cameron) is kidnapped by a group of pampered pets determined to return him to his owners. Boog (Mike Epps), Elliot, McSquizzy (Billy Connolly), Buddy and the rest of the woodland creatures launch a full-scale rescue mission for their sausage-shaped friend and soon find themselves in enemy camp: the world of the pets.
