Fleischer Studios, King Features and SureSource have launched the all-new official Betty Boop online store, accessible at www.bettyboop.com. The store will feature a wide array of Betty Boop merchandise, including fashion apparel, hard-to-find collectibles and memorabilia. SureSource Inc. designed the new online store and will manage store operations in collaboration with King Features and Fleischer Studios.

In May 2004, BOOP copyright owners -- Hearst Corp., King Features Syndicate and Fleischer Studios -- filed a federal suit against 43 defendants for copyright infringement on the BETTY BOOP AND HER GANG characters. They're looking to have all the illegal merchandise impounded and are seeking, in addition to all profits made by the counterfeiters, punitive damages of $100,000 and statutory damages of $1 million per infringement.
