O.D. Welch Named President of Digital Domain

A 30-year industry veteran, Welch has extensive experience in Visual Effects and Production management, and knows the entertainment business on a ground-up operational and financial basis.  

Playa Vista, CA -- Academy Award winning visual effects studio Digital Domain announced today that O.D Welch has joined its ranks in the role of President. In his new role, Welch will manage all aspects of the day-to-day operations at Digital Domain’s Playa Vista and Vancouver locations. A 30-year industry veteran, Welch has extensive experience in Visual Effects and Production management, and knows the entertainment business on a ground-up operational and financial basis.

Welch comes to Digital Domain having previously served in C-Level roles at Cameron Pace Group, Prime Focus Limited, and 525 Studios to name a few.  He is also a member of the Producer’s Guild of America, the Visual Effects Society, the International 3D & Advanced Imaging Society, and a charter member of the Hollywood Post Alliance.
