Not Lazy In Preparing For MIP TV

Since the implementation of the European sales office in January this year, LazyTown has logged a slew of new sales and licensing deals across the territory.

In Austria Germany and Switzerland, LazyTown has secured licenses with SIGG Switzerland, Trade Mark Collections LTD, Euromic A/S, and across multi-territories, a deal with Original Buff headwear.

In the UK and Ireland, licenses are now in place with William Lamb Footwear for all children's footwear and with Zap Ltd for soft furnishings.

Spanish sales activity includes a DVD and Publishing deal with Radiotelevision Espanola, and a magazine and stickers license with Panini Espana.

The LazyTown Europe office is headed up by Katie Foster as Director of Brand and Licensing, Europe and Catrina Stock as Head of Brand and Licensing, Europe. With many European territories just launching their LazyTown campaigns, the office in London provides an ideal geographical location for business.

LazyTown is the only global brand in the world dedicated to children's health. Created originally as a book property (GO, GO LAZYTOWN!) in 1995 by Magnus Scheving, an athlete of international stature, entrepreneur, producer and director, LazyTown has since been nurtured into a household name worldwide, with businesses including publishing, home entertainment, music, live theatrical shows and even a dedicated radio station. LAZYTOWN the television series first aired in 2004, and is now available in 53 episodes and has sold to more than 110 territories worldwide.
