Actor/director Alex Winter, aka Bill S. Preston Esp., has told MTV that a third BILL & TED feature is in the works. Keanu Reeves previously told the cable net that he was up for reprising his role as Theodore "Ted" Logan.
Winter said that an idea has been reached that everyone feels is worth doing. Original's writers Chris Matheson and Ed Solomon are working on a screenplay. While details are being kept under wraps, the film will visit Bill and Ted where they'd be in life today. Winter said one of the most difficult issues with the sequel is working around George Carlin's Rufus who played a huge role in the original films.
