Newcomer, FRACTURE, the thriller with Anthony Hopkins and Ryan Gosling from New Line, bowed in second with $11M. Following in third with $7.67M was Paramount/DreamWorks BLADES OF GLORY. With vfx by Rainmaker Visual Effects, Digital Dimension, Image Engine, Gentle Giant Studios, Intrigue and Spectrum Effects, the ice-skating comedy now has a cume of $100.9M. Fourth place belonged to another newcomer, VACANCY, by Screen Gems, with $7.6M. Buena Vistas animated MEET THE ROBINSONS scored fifth with $6.9M and a tally of $82M. HOT FUZZ from Rogue Pictures, with vfx from Double Negative and Framestore CFC, scored $5.8M for a sixth place finish. Sony/Revolutions ARE WE DONE YET? settled for seventh with $5.1M and a cume of $39.5M. Warner Bros. IN THE LAND OF WOMEN debuted in eighth with $4.7M.
