Nickelodeon Debuts Branded Block In Bulgaria With TV7

Straight out of a successful MIPTV, Viacom International Media Networks (VIMN), a unit of Viacom Inc. (NYSE: VIA and VIA.B), today announced a partnership with Bulgarian entertainment broadcaster, TV7, to launch the first localised Nickelodeon branded block for TV viewers in Bulgaria.

London/Sofia, 20 April 2011: Straight out of a successful MIPTV, Viacom International Media Networks (VIMN), a unit of Viacom Inc. (NYSE: VIA and VIA.B), today announced a partnership with Bulgarian entertainment broadcaster, TV7, to launch the first localised Nickelodeon branded block for TV viewers in Bulgaria.

Starting from 25 April, Bulgarian kids and families will be able to enjoy four hours of Nickelodeon’s world-renowned content every day with two hours of preschool animation in the morning and two hours of animation and live-action in the afternoon via TV7’s cable, satellite and free-to-air terrestrial analogue platforms including TV7 and Super 7. The Nickelodeon branded block will also be available as part of the TV7 IPTV service.

The multi-property deal includes more than 20 Nickelodeon programme titles comprising in excess of 1,000 episodes of Nickelodeon signature animation and live-action series. Among the Nickelodeon shows will be multiple series of global favourites Dora the Explorer, SpongeBob SquarePants, The Penguins of Madagascar, iCarly, The Troop, Big Time Rush, Jimmy Neutron and True Jackson VP.

The deal was brokered on behalf of VIMN by Sales Manager, Marco Arabit.
