Nick Mobile on V CAST Kicks Off

Nickelodeon, the top entertainment brand for kids, and Verizon Wireless, the leading wireless service provider in the U.S., jointly announced the launch of Nick Mobile today, (May 5, 2005) to bring Nickelodeon video content to Verizon Wireless' V CAST wireless phones. Music videos from DORA THE EXPLORER, BLUE'S CLUES, THE BACKYARDIGANS and LAZYTOWN will be the first available content on Nick Mobile, with Nickelodeon TV programming scheduled to roll out this summer.

The eight Nick Jr. Videos, approximately one to three minutes long each, are available on Verizon Wireless' V CAST wireless broadband multimedia service are THE BACKYARDIGANS' 'A Pirate Says Arrr' and 'The Yeti Stomp'; LAZYTOWN'S 'Bing Bang Song' and 'There's Always a Way'; BLUE'S CLUES' 'Colors' and 'The Planets Song'; and DORA THE EXPLORER'S 'We Love to Sing' and 'Tenemos Amigos.' Nick plans to add three new Nick Jr. videos each week.

For a limited time, customers who sign up for V CAST will receive two months of service free. V CAST's array of multimedia programming is located in the Get It Now virtual store. Customers can access video from news, sports and entertainment providers in the getFLIX shopping aisle and check out new cutting-edge 3D games in the getGAMES aisle. V CAST also gives customers unlimited airtime to browse and view applications in the other familiar Get It Now shopping aisles such as getTONES and getGOING.

V CAST customers can find Nickelodeon and Nick Jr. content on the LG VX8000 phone from Verizon Wireless. With the LG VX8000, V CAST customers can download content on their mobile phones with just a few clicks and experience outstanding clarity and sharpness. The LG VX8000 is available to Verizon Wireless customers for $149.9,9 after a $70 rebate, with a two-year customer agreement.
