Nickelodeon launches the CG-animated series "Monsters vs. Aliens," and premieres a brand-new episode of "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles."

It’s an action-packed Friday night with the toughest fighting Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in town – Leo, Raph, Donnie and Mikey.  Viewers can catch some of the Turtles’ best crime-fighting episodes on Friday, April 5 from 7:00p.m.-9:00p.m. (ET/PT) during “Total Turtle Takeover.”  The night begins with the premiere of “Baxter’s Gambit” at 7:00p.m. (ET/PT) where Baxter Stockman, fed up with being humiliated by Fishface and Dogpound and defeated by the Turtles, seeks revenge by luring both parties into a deadly labyrinth.

The animated adventures continue when Nickelodeon’s newest CG-animated series Monsters vs. Aliens debuts on Saturday, April 6 at 11:30 a.m. (ET/PT).  A co-production with DreamWorks Animation and inspired by the 2009 blockbuster feature film ($383 million worldwide gross), the new series follows the further adventures of the beloved monsters- B.O.B. (Eric Edelstein, Hotel for Dogs), the gelatinous blob without a brain; Link (Diedrich Bader, Office Space), the prehistoric fish-man; Dr. Cockroach (Chris O’Dowd, Bridesmaids), the half-man/half-insect mad scientist; and Susan (aka Ginormica) (Riki Lindhome, Gilmore Girls), the incredible growing woman-as they learn to adapt to a new world and work side by side with a bizarre group of aliens.  In the half-hour premiere, “Welcome to Area Fifty-Something,” Susan, B.O.B., Link and Dr. Cockroach are stationed at Area Fifty-Something to protect the planet, when a lone alien, Coverton (Jeff Bennett, The Penguins of Madagascar) arrives and imprisons the President while making a permanent home on base.
