Nickelodeon and Nicktoons Network are gearing up for their events at Comic-Con International, to be held in San Diego, California, Thursday, July 20 - Sunday, July 23, 2006. The network will be located at booth #2515.
As a special promotion at the event, Nickelodeon is hosting an interactive AVATAR game on the convention center floor. Attendees can receive a promotional poster/map piece that asks them to help find Appa (a character from the show) at any of the six participating booths including Nickelodeon, Mattel, Paramount, Upper Deck, THQ and Simon and Schuster. Attendees need to go to each partner booth to receive a sticker for their map that will translate a Chinese character that corresponds to their booth. Once all five stickers are collected from all five partners, the Chinese characters on the map will read Have You Seen My Flying Bison? The attendee will then bring the completed map to the Nickelodeon booth for the answer and an AVATAR prize.
