New York Int’l Short Film Festival Wants Your Shorts

The New York International Short Film Festival is now accepting submissions of live-action, documentary and animated short films and videos; the deadline for entries is February 13.

The New York International Short Film Festival is now accepting submissions of live-action, documentary and animated short films and videos for its international competition, which will take place May 31 through June 2, 2016 at the Landmark Sunshine Cinema in New York City.

The Festival accepts short films up to 45 minutes in genres including drama, comedy, animation, documentary, experimental and music videos. Entry forms and requirements are available on www.NYshortsFest.com. The deadline for entries is February 13.

Past films have included 2015 Oscar Nominee, The Dam Keeper, 2012 Oscar-nominated A Morning Stroll by director Grant Orchard, and Student Academy Awards winner Mauro Mueller’s A World for Raul. NY Shorts Fest premiered Ricky Gervais Derek in 2012, which became a popular British television series and is now available on Netflix.
