New Voice Over Agency Hopes to Make Actors Shine

Based in the U.K., Jennifer Taylor and Clair Daintree have combined a wealth of expertise and recognition in the field of voice overs, as well as a unique link with Hollywood to provide a genuinely full service voice over agency, Shining Management, Ltd., in London to service the broadcast and production industry.

Shining Management will offer high professional voice over artists from the U.K. and America. U.K. voices in their stable include Gary Martin, of honey monster fame, Capital Radio DJs, James Cannon and Martin Collins, Tara Newley, the familiar and adaptable voice from the Fimbles and Cubeez, Robert Elms from BBC London radio and cricket commentator, Henry Blofeld. Shining also provides a unique link to American celebrity artists such as John Corbett, Patricia Arquette and David Hyde Pierce, via an exclusive affiliation with a major L.A agency to access a wide range of high profile American talent.

The founders, with a combined experience of 25 years in the entertainment and voice over industry, first met at Talking Heads. They believe that there is a real gap in the market for a full, yet personal, management agency service, which provides a one-stop-shop for production teams.

U.S.-born Taylor worked in celebrity casting in Los Angeles for seven years before coming to London. "Voices are the unsung heroes of TV and radio broadcasting," said Taylor. "Getting just the right voice for your production can be absolutely critical to its success and the smooth running of the project. Shining Management truly understands this, and with excellent contacts all across the industry, we pride ourselves in offering a personal first rate service which will provide great voices and a total understanding of production criteria in order to achieve great results."

Daintree spent more than five years building an extensive bank of contacts in the voice over industry in the U.K. as well as developing studio production experience. She said their, "knowledge regarding current market trends, along with their global contacts and commitment to voice over and client management, will provide production teams with a personable service of the highest standard."

Shining offers a sound portfolio of experienced voice over artists for projects of all kinds, including TV and radio commercials, animation, documentaries, corporate productions, promotions and CD-ROMS. In its development phase, Shining Management has supplied voices to companies all across the world, including BT, Renault, Dairylea, Ariel, Cereal Partners, Virgin One, Gillette, Unilever, Lego, Capital One, Volvo, Laboratoires Garnier, Baileys, Easyjet and KFC.
