New Short from Studio AKA Helps Say Nuts to Cancer

Two-minute short from Studio AKA mixes 2D Flash animation with 3D CGI and live sets.

Here’s an adorable new short film from London-based Studio AKA to help launch the Check One Two social media campaign #Feelingnuts, which aims to increase awareness about testicular cancer.

One of the most preventable forms of cancer, testicular cancer is 100% curable if caught early. The #Feelingnuts campaign tackles male attitudes towards health by spreading awareness and educating men -- and the women in their lives -- about how to check for testicular cancer, breaking down the embarrassment and lack of knowledge which still surrounds this disease.

The two-minute short film mixes 2D Flash animation with 3D CGI and live sets, featuring two attention-grabbing testicle characters -- known as “the spuds” -- who lay out the campaign in quite a memorable fashion.
