'The New Adventures of Peter Pan' Coming to TV in 3D

As reported on CGTantra, DQ Entertainment, a global animation, gaming and live action entertainment production and distribution company announced a deal to make 26 half hour episodes of The New Adventures of Peter Pan in animated 3D.

As reported on CGTantra, DQ Entertainment, a global animation, gaming and live action entertainment production and distribution company announced a deal to make 26 half hour episodes of The New Adventures of Peter Pan in animated 3D. DQ Entertainment Ireland Limited is co-producing this high-end television series with Method Animation, France and Story Board Animation, France at a global budget of Euro 9.91 million (INR 60 Crore). This high end 3D TV series will be a feature quality visual delight with some stereoscopic effects. Method Animation, France and Story Board Animation, France have entered into a development deal with France Television, France.  Design and editorial work have already begun with a development team situated in France. 

According to Tapaas Chakravarti, Chairman and CEO of DQ Entertainment “We are delighted to have Method Animation as our co-producers supported by Storyboard Animation, France for creative and post production development of series. The creative pedigree of Method Animation, which is currently co-producing Little Prince, Iron Man – II as well as Charlie Chaplin, is well known worldwide, and this new series will bring renewed sparkle to our relationship. DQE and its co-producers are truly grateful to the qualitative development support by the marquee broadcaster -France Television.”
