Nevercenter Releases Silo for Mac OS

Nevercenter Ltd. Co. announced the immediate availability of its highly-acclaimed 3D modeling program, Silo for Mac OS X Panther (10.3). A single Silo license can be purchased online at www.nevercenter.com or through a reseller for $109, and allows an individual user to use Silo on up to three computers, in any combination of Macs and PCs.

"We attribute much of Silo's strong growth and top reviews to our highly dynamic development process," said John Plewe, Nevercenter director of development. "The Silo Mac port is a direct response to the spirited requests of the graphics community, and continues our tradition of frequent, major Silo updates at no extra charge."

A fully-featured 17-day demo of Silo 1.26 for Mac OS is available on the Nevercenter Website. Users who have already purchased a Silo license will be receiving an additional Silo Mac OS registration code the week of Aug. 23 to allow use of Silo on the Mac OS platform, while those who purchase a new Silo license will now receive both a PC and Mac registration code with their purchase. All future updates, including the forthcoming Silo 1.3, featuring the Topology Brush, will be released simultaneously for Mac and PC.

Silo is a next-generation production-quality 3D modeling program, employing advanced polygonal modeling tools and completely integrated subdivision surfaces. From other-wordly character models to modernist building designs, Silo is being used now in professional work in video games, architectural design, animation and more.

Nevercenter is a new private company based in Salt Lake City, Utah. They are small team devoted to the development of 3D software and content.
