NATPE News: Valcom Offers New 3D Zoo Revue

ValCom Inc. is presenting the 3D animation series, NEW ZOO REVUE at NATPE 2004 at booth 473. The original people-in-suits series debuted in syndication in the U.S. in 1971 and reached more than 100 million viewers.

Vince Vellardita and Barbara Atlas are co-exec producing the project with Dotan Koskas serving as animation producer and co-producton partner O Atlas Enterprises. The musical show follows the adventures of Charlie the Owl, Henrietta Hippo, Freddie the Frog, Freeda the Frog and humans like Mr Dingle, Doug and Emmy-Jo.

The Emmy award-winning NEW ZOO REVUE has received FCC approval and has made three White House appearances, as it is known for teaching values as a way of life for young people, with episodes having such titles as "Fairness," "Honesty," "Drugs" and "Feelings" and inspiring children to become more caring and constructive through a musical comedy.

"Animation children's shows are bringing in billions of dollars each year through ticket sales, such as FINDING NEMO at $320 million and SHREK at over $325 million. With our already built in audience we plan to capture a large portion of the market place with the all new feature film and series, "New Zoo Revue. ValCom owns 195 episodes plus 600 songs," said ValCom ceo/president Vellardita.
