(November 22, 2010) – Dublin based animation company, Igloo Animations, launched their latest product GimmeTheShortVersion.com. The award winning animators have created a website to explain seemingly complex issues relating to the Government, Finance and the Environment; the website illustrates these heavy topics with two minute animations and cartoon characters.
The ESB, The Environmental Protection Agency and the Responsible Investment Academy have already signed up to avail of this quirky service.
Speaking about GimmeTheShortVersion.com, Igloo Animations MD, Trevor Courtney said ‘We wanted to provide clients with a service which allows them to serve their customers more efficiently. Clients are able to choose their own voice over, character and script which means they have a much greater input when it comes to the creativity of the product. We are in a time when NAMA is a big issue and not many people understand exactly what it is, so we created a two minute animation piece which people can easily understand. It goes to show that not everything has to be so complicated’
Igloo Animations are attracting International interest from as far afield as Australia, and America as well as the UK, all of whom are looking to Trevor and the Igloo Animation team to communicate their messages via bite-sized, visual chunks.
