Silver Spring, MD & Pawtucket, RI -- Get ready for a Ponyville celebration like no other as My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, the beloved series created by Hasbro Studios, commemorates its 100th episode milestone. Full of fun surprises, true friendship and music, this special milestone episode airs on Saturday, June 13 at 11:30 AM EDT (10:30 AM CDT), only on Discovery Family Channel -- the smart entertainment choice for families.
This special features a first-time spotlight on several supporting cast characters, as Ponyville’s favorite residents -- Twilight Sparkle, Fluttershy, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, and Rarity -- are busy protecting their community from a surprise attack. Meanwhile, as everyone prepares for Cranky and Matilda’s highly anticipated wedding celebration, an invitation printing error forces last-minute changes, sending Mathilda’s loyal Ponyville pals -- a group of rarely seen and never-before-heard ponies -- scrambling to rearrange everything for the nuptials.
Focusing on teamwork and putting their best hooves forward, the ponies work hard to make Cranky and Matilda’s wedding extra special -- with Octavia and DJ Pon-3 even producing a musical “Wedding Mashup” sure to delight fans. Complete with special guest appearances, the entire Ponyville community will come together in the spirit of everlasting love.
