MacFarlane Inks Record Deal

FAMILY GUY mastermind Seth MacFarlane has inked a record deal with Universal Republic Records, according to THE HOLLYWOOD REPORTER. The album will be a tribute to 1940s and '50s show tunes. The songs will not be spoofs. MacFarlane, who was nominated this year for his music and lyrics work on GUY, will be supported by a live orchestra and a big band.
