DreamWorks Animation was recognized last week at the 28th Annual Technical Excellence & Creativity Awards in Anaheim, taking home an award for Outstanding Creative Achievement in the Studio Design Project category.

Honoring architect Peter Grueneisen and acousticians from Charles M. Salter & Associates and Veneklasen Associates for their exceptional design work at the studio, the award was presented by the TEC Foundation for Excellence in Audio and the 2013 NAAM Show.

Recognizing the achievements of innovative audio professionals, including music producers, artists, technicians and designers, the annual TEC Award nominations are made by a panel of audio industry
professionals and voted upon by members of various organizations and top industry websites. This award marks DWA’s first TEC Award.
