DreamWorks Cleans Up at the Annies

ASIFA-Hollywood handed out its annual Annie Awards at UCLA's Royce Hall on Feb. 5, 2011. DreamWorks Animation cleaned up with 15 awards across both feature film and television.

Tom “SpongeBob” Kenny returned to host his sixth Annie Awards. The funny man addressed the flying elephant in the room and joked about the withdrawal of Walt Disney Studios as a sponsor of the event. At the end of the ceremony, he did send out congratulations to the artists that couldn’t be part of the event for whatever reason and that ASIFA hopes that Disney will return.
