The Motion Picture Sound Editors have announced the nominees for the 2007 Golden Reel Awards. In the feature animation category, two of three Oscar nominees -- CARS and HAPPY FEET -- made the list alongside THE ANT BULLY, FLUSHED AWAY, ICE AGE: THE MELTDOWN and OVER THE HEDGE. For TV, a wide range of networks picked up nods for such shows as AMERICAN DAD, BEN 10, DRAWN TOGETHER, KAPPA MIKEY, MY LIFE AS A TEENAGE ROBOT, SQUIRREL BOY, SUPER ROBOT MONKEY TEAM HYPERFORCE GO! and YIN! YANG! YO! Animation was also well represented in the direct-to-video category as well as gaming. The 54th annual MPSE Golden Reel Awards will take place on Feb. 24, 2007, at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.
