Jeffrey Dean Morgan (WATCHMEN) has joined the cast of Lionsgate and Ghost House Pictures' DIBBUK BOX, reports Variety. Sam Raimi and Rob Tapert are producing with Ole Bornedal (JUST ANOTHER LOVE STORY) in the director's chair.
Morgan will play a recent divorcee whose youngest daughter buys an ancient box at a yard sale, which contains a malevolent spirit that tries to eat her soul.
Stan Wertlieb, Peter Schlessel, and Nathan Kahane are the exec producers, alongside co-producers Stephen Susco, J.R. Young, Nicole Brown and Kelli Konop.
Lionsgate has already high hopes for this horror flick placing it in the former SAW slot of Halloween weekend, Oct. 28.
