mOcean and CMP/West to Create New Advertising/Design Facility

mOcean and CMP/West, two of the Craig Murray Prods. group of companies, will join together in a new Westside Los Angeles facility to be completed in September and operate under the mOcean banner.

The newly combined company will serve the entertainment industry as a full-service creative advertising agency as well as continue to provide its film and television clients with a complete range of design and editorial capabilities in the production of theatrical trailers and television image campaigns.

Michael McIntyre will continue to oversee mOceans total operations, while CMP/Wests Richard Redfield will head up the theatrical division for the company, and Kevin Aratari will continue to lead the companys broadcast design and commercials division, as well as continue in his role as head of business development.

Combining the creative and editorial talents of CMP/West with those of mOcean under one roof creates an editorial powerhouse with full design and motion graphics capabilities, said ceo Craig Murray. Separately, CMP/West and mOcean have both built solid industry reputations and client relationships. Together, Michael, Richard and Kevin form an expanded company with creative and technical prowess unparalleled in the industry.

Established in 1986, the Craig Murray group is comprised of Craig Murray Prods./Burbank (CMP); mOcean (the newly combined CMP/West and mOcean companies); CMP Home Ent. and Poster Child print. Together, the CMP companies represent one of the largest and most distinguished creative advertising companies serving the entertainment industry.

CMP became the first trailer company to open a separate, independent creative division when it launched CMP/West in 1996. Over the years CMP/West has become recognized throughout the motion picture industry for creating innovative advertising campaigns for such studios as Warner Bros. and DreamWorks. The groups most recent works includes trailers for ALEXANDER, OCEANS TWELVE and NAPOLEON DYNAMITE.

Venice, California-based mOcean (www.mocean.tv) was created in 2000 as a unique design-oriented agency specializing in both trailer campaigns and creative design to serve entertainment and non-entertainment industries.
