Pokemon Black and White Are Franchise Best Sellers

POKEMON BLACK VERSION and POKEMON WHITE VERSION, which went on sale March 6, sold 1.08 million units, making it the fastest selling title in the U.S. in the franchise’s history, writes The Hollywood Reporter. The previous record was held by POKEMON DIAMOND VERSION and POKEMON PEARL VERSION, which sold 780,000 copies in 24 hours in 2007. Estimates have the game selling between 2.25 million and 2.75 million units in the first week.

The new game gives players over 150 new Pokemon and a brand new world. The worlds also change season along with the season where the player is playing. Also gamers can battle random players around the world over wif-fi.
