Cell phone giant Nokia has filled suit against Apple alleging patent infringement, reports VARIETY. Nokia claims that the iPhone infringes on 10 patents regarding phone calls and Wi-Fi capabilities. Nokia says 40 other phone producers have licensed these very patents. Apparently, lawsuits over patents in the cell phone biz are common, with the result usually ending in the defendant paying licensing fees or the companies sharing patents.
