In conjunction with its trip to MIPCOM, Entertainment Rights has announced its acquisition of the TV and video rights to TRANSFORMERS ENERGON, the next chapter in the TRANSFORMER franchise. The new 52x30 minute episodes follow up the success of TRANSFORMERS ARMADA. Picking up where Armada left off, Energon follows the defeated evil Unicron and Megatron teaming up to take over Earth.
In addition, Entertainment Rights has signed an exclusive deal for the rights to DUEL MASTERS, the latest anime craze to sweep Japan. The 26x30 animated series is scheduled to debut in the U.K. in 2004. Based on a comic book series, DUEL MASTERS follows Shobu Kirifuda as he competes in the DUEL MASTERS tournaments, added by the power to access the allpowerful Zone.
