New Regency and Summit Ent. has hired Max Minghella for their supernatural thriller THE DARKEST HOUR, reports VARIETY. He joins Emile Hirsch and Olivia Thirlby.
The story follows a group of teens visiting Russia when an alien race invades.
Chris Gorak (RIGHT AT YOUR DOOR) is helming with Tom Jacobson and Timur Bekmambetov on as producers. Les Bohem and Jon Spaihts wrote the script.
Production will take place in Moscow this summer.
