Sonys RV, last weeks leader, slipped to second place with $11M and a two-week cume of $30.9M. Freestyles AN AMERICAN HAUNTING bowed in third with $5.7M. Buena Vistas STICK IT followed in fourth with $5.4M and a two-week cume of $17.9M. Universals UNITED 93 (with vfx from Double Negative) fell 53% in its second week to fifth place with $5.3M and a $20.1M tally. Fox/Blue Skys 3D-animated hit, ICE AGE: THE MELTDOWN, actually moved up a notch to sixth, adding another $4.1M and bringing its total take to $183.4M. Sonys SILENT HILL (with vfx from Buf, C.O.R.E. and Mr. X) settled for the seventh spot with $4M and a cume of $40.9M. Finishing eighth was Dimensions SCARY MOVIE 4, which collected $3.6M and a cume of $83.6M. Scoring ninth was Lionsgates AKEELAH AND THE BEE, with $3.3M and a cume of $10.6M.
