Deadline.com reports that MGM has let go of 50 employees. The staffers receiving the very un-merry holiday gift were in the post-production, marketing and theatrical distribution divisions. MGM recently received court approval for its pre-planned bankruptcy, which will see Spyglass Ent.'s Gary Barber and Roger Birnbaum taking over the reins at the company.
