Mediatoon's Magic Roundabout Sees International Deals

Mediatoon has inked several new TV and video rights deals, for its series THE MAGIC ROUNDABOUT, featuring amusing stories produced in HD and loveable characters, such as Dougal and Zebedee.

Italia 1 (Italy), TV2 (Norway), YLE (Finland), TRT (Turkey), EESTI (Estonia) and Al Jazeera (Middle East) have snapped up the preschool show.

Mediaway (Poland), Europa Records (Hungary) and CLMC (Portugal) have picked up the video rights. In these three countries the series is aired on Minimax (Hungary), RTP (Portugal) and MiniMini (Poland). THE MAGIC ROUNDABOUT is currently airing on M6 every Wednesday and Saturday morning.

Given the success of the series, co-producers Films Action, Action Synthese, Play Productions, Ellipsanime, with the participation of M6 and Disney, have started the production of second season for a further 52 episodes to bring the total of 104x11. The second season is already sold to ABC Australia, and should be delivered mid 2010.
