Mary Hentges Named CFO Of CBS Interactive

Mary Hentges has been named Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of CBS Interactive, a division of CBS Corporation (NYSE: CBS.A and CBS), it was announced today by Neil Ashe, President, CBS Interactive.

SAN FRANCISCO – Aug. 30, 2010 — Mary Hentges has been named Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of CBS Interactive, a division of CBS Corporation (NYSE: CBS.A and CBS), it was announced today by Neil Ashe, President, CBS Interactive.

Hentges comes to CBS Interactive after spending more than seven years as the Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer for PayPal, where she led a global finance team that oversaw accounting, billing, financial planning and analysis, strategy, enterprise risk management, tax, treasury and internal audit to enable a tenfold growth in the business.  She will report directly to Ashe and start Monday, Aug. 30.

Prior to PayPal, Hentges worked in a number of key finance roles for Agilent Technologies and Hewlett-Packard.  She was instrumental in leading all financial aspects of the separation and IPO of Agilent from its parent company, Hewlett-Packard.  Hentges began her career in the audit sector of 'Big 8' firms Ernst & Whinney and Price Waterhouse.

Hentges replaces Zander Lurie as CFO of CBS Interactive, a position Lurie held until April 2010 when he shifted to his current role as Senior Vice President, Strategic Development for CBS Corporation.
