In the wake of IRON MAN's success, Marvel Studios execs Kevin Feige and David Maisel are reaping the benefits. According to VARIETY, Feige has been upped to president and Maisel has signed on as the chairmen of the film unit through 2010.
Maisel was integral in setting up Marvel's move into film, especially in landing the $525 million funding for the venture. He serves as exec producer on all Marvel internal projects. Feige produced IRON MAN, as well as the upcoming INCREDIBLE HULK. Additionally, he has worked on Marvel's licensed films such as X-MEN, SPIDER-MAN and FANTASTIC 4 franchises.
