Marks Will Get The Business At Universal TV

Richard Marks joins Universal Network Television as vp of business affairs, it was announced by Neil Strum, exec vp of Universal Television Productions. Marks will be responsible for business affairs for the Universal series THE AGENCY and THE DISTRICT, as well as pilots ABOUT A BOY, SLICE O' LIFE and KAREN SISCO.

Marks was vp in charge of business and legal affairs for Nelvana Communications and had been exec vp/general counsel at Kushner-Locke Company, where he oversaw legal and business affairs for all divisions of the publicly traded company including, development, finance, production, post-production, marketing, advertising and distribution of all production and programming. Marks has also held positions such as sr vp and general counsel at Media Home Entertainment, counsel at Walt Disney Pictures, vp in charge of business and legal affairs at Weintraub Entertainment Group, senior counsel at Paramount Pictures Corp. and senior counsel at the Ziegler Agency.
