Mark Eyers Promoted To VP of Content, Turner Ent. Networks Asia

Turner Entertainment Networks Asia has promoted Mark Eyers to the new position of Vice President for Content. In his new role, Eyers will oversee all aspects of TENA's content business, including scheduling, acquisitions, programming operations, presentation, original production & development and new brands/business initiatives.

Eyers was previously the Executive Director of Programming, and was responsible for implementing a unified vision across all programming functions, including operations, acquisitions and development for Cartoon Network, POGO and Boomerang channels in Asia Pacific. Under his leadership, TENA consolidated its content ownership, development and management structures, by integrating the original production and development unit within the programming division. His efforts have enhanced TENA's ability to chart future strategic plans to offer more branded entertainment content.

As a key member of TENA's senior management team, Eyers joined TENA's Creative Services team in August 2004 as Associate Creative Director, overseeing the creative element for regional sponsorship and promotions. He was instrumental in transforming the on-air identity of six Cartoon Network feeds to align with all international markets – a pivotal strategy of TENA's. In January 2007, Eyers assumed leadership of the programming strategy and scheduling team and has been constantly taking on additional responsibilities on TENA content functions.

Prior to joining Eyers, Eyers was the Senior Manager -- Head of Creative Department at Walt Disney Television International in Singapore where he was responsible for the creative production and presentation of on-air promotions for Asia Pacific Disney Channels. He has also worked with BTQ Channel 7, DVP Media, and CRTV/TVQ 10 in Brisbane, Australia.
