Max Borenstein has been brought in to write the newest draft of Man From U.N.C.L.E., the feature film version of the cult classic 60s action-thriller-spy-cold war-cool guns TV show.  According to The Hollywood Reporter, David Dobkin is slated to direct the film, which has been in development for quite some time.  Dobkin will produce alongside John Davis and Jeff Kleeman.

Robert Vaughn and David McCallum starred in the original series, which ran from 1964-1968 on NBC.  As Napoleon Solo and Illya Kuryakin, the two agents worked for United Network Command for Law Enforcement (U.N.C.L.E.) in its fight against the forces of T.H.R.U.S.H. (Technological Hierarchy for the Removal of Undesirables and the Subjugation of Humanity).
