Mainframe Establishes A Global Sales And Marketing Unit

Mainframe Entertainment has established a global sales division and has named Joy Tashjian as vice president, worldwide sales and marketing. Tashjian will oversee the new division as the company expands its presence in the U.S. and strengthens its position in the global marketplace. She will also oversee the international distribution and will supervise the domestic sales for Mainframe's properties including TONY HAWK'S FEASTERS, DOT'S BOTS, BETTY BOOP, WUBBIES and SCARY GODMOTHER among others. Tashjian also continues to preside over her own licensing and merchandising company, Joy Tashjian Marketing Group (JTMG), which, together with Mainframe, has been named the agency of record for NBC Consumer Products. A veteran in the licensing and merchandising community, Joy Tashjian spent over 20 years working on various licensing and merchandising projects and properties for DIC Entertainment, ABC/Capital Cities and The Walt Disney Company. She will be based at Mainframe USA in Los Angeles. In a related promotion, Alisha Serold has been upped to vice president, domestic sales and creative development. In this post, Serold oversees program development and distribution of all of Mainframe's television properties for North America. Alisha Serold joined Mainframe USA in 2001 as director of creative services. Previously, Serold served as executive director, production and acquisitions at Harvey Entertainment. Prior to Harvey Entertainment, she was director of acquisitions for Artisan Television, a division of Artisan Entertainment. She is also based in the company's Los Angeles office and will report directly to Joy Tashjian. Based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Mainframe Entertainment Inc. has produced over 200 half hours of computer animation since its inception in 1993. It is best known for its pioneering computer animated series REBOOT. The company is currently in production on 13 episodes of SPIDER-MAN for Sony Pictures Television.
