Director/exec producer Jack Bender has signed on to direct and exec produce Syfy's 90-minute pilot ALPHAS, reports VARIETY. Zak Penn and Michael Karnow wrote the script.
The show follows a crime-fighting team whose members have advanced mental skills.
BermanBraun are producing. Gail Berman and Lloyd Braun are also exec producing.
Shooting will start this summer in Toronto.
