LOOK Effects has moved their Los Angeles facilities to a new location on the west side of Los Angeles.

LOS ANGELES, CA, JUNE 28, 2011 – LOOK Effects has moved their Los Angeles facilities to a new location on the west side of Los Angeles. The space at 12910 Culver Boulevard, Suite F, Los Angeles, CA 90066 is almost twice as large as their former location in Hollywood.
“We had outgrown our offices in the El Capitan Building,” says LOOK President Mark Driscoll. “It was time to move and upgrade our facilities. The new space is a great creative environment. But most importantly, the new facilities will allow us to grow as production requires and offer even more services to our clients.”
The new facilities feature a screening room, expanded server room to allow for more render power, larger conference room and state-of-the-art connectivity.
“We’ve wired the whole building in CAT 6A to allow for 10 Gigabyte connectivity to all artist workstations,” explains Senior Visual Effects Supervisor and Founding Partner Henrik Fett. “This also boosts our interaction with our New York office.” LOOK has always offered full-service visual effects from on-set supervision through delivery of final shots. The addition of an in-house miniature green-screen area will give the company added flexibility in services and pricing.
“We took our time finding the perfect space,” explains Senior Visual Effects Supervisor and Partner Max Ivins. “We had a very clear vision what additional functions we wanted our new facilities to include. With this move, we have made that vision real.”
