LOOK Effects Hires David Embley

LOOK Effects hires financial management consultant David Embley as the company’s new Director of Finance.

LOS ANGELES, CA --

Digital effects company LOOK Effects has hired financial management consultant David Embley as its new Director of Finance. With over 15 years’ experience, David brings extensive accounting knowledge and expertise to his new appointment. He is based in LOOK’s Los Angeles headquarters and began his new position at the end of July.

As Finance Director, David has years of experience in the advertising and marketing arenas, here and in the UK. Before joining LOOK, David served at a financial management consultant for bpg Advertising in LA. He also served several years as Finance Director for Ghostbot Inc and Brantrock Advisors, both in California. After two years as Finance Controller for Cohn & Wolfe in London, the company promoted him to Finance Director in the Los Angeles office.

David began his career at his alma mater, South Bank University, as an accounts assistant before moving on to Stanfort Limited as a management accountant. At Bite Communications in London, he was Financial Controller for over 5 years before working as Finance Director for MBA Associates. David holds a BA with Honors in Business studies and a Diploma with Distinction in Business and Finance from South Bank University in London.

Television credits include “Bones,” “Game of Thrones,” “Nashville,” “Castle,” “The Finder,” the Emmy-nominated effects for “Life After People” and all of the VES-nominated effects for the final season of “Lost.
