Little Princess Set to Rule in Spain

TV-Loonland has secured various deals within the Spanish territory for its animation series LITTLE PRINCESS, produced by The Illuminated Film Company.

Free TV rights were licensed to TVE Spain and Cartoon Network Spain acquired the Pay TV rights for the preschool series. LITTLE PRINCESS is set to premiere soon on TVE's LA 2.

Home entertainment rights were picked up by Big Picture Ent. and will release the first LITTLE PRINCESS DVD in August/September 2009.

Following the publishing success in the U.K., Germany and other markets, a Spanish LITTLE PRINCESS publishing program will be launched in 2009. Among the first deals to be secured, Random House acquired the publishing rights for TV tie-in books. Further major publishing partners should be announced soon.

The worldwide licensing program is given a boost as TV-Loonland appoints local licensing agent El Ocho Licencias y Promociones S.L. in Spain. Initial product launches are expected for fall 2009, with previews early 2009.

LITTLE PRINCESS is broadcasting in more than 160 territories.
