He’s one half of LMFAO and used to collaborating with the elite of pop music. Now Grammy-nominated and global pop sensation, Sky Blu, has revealed his latest collaboration – teaming up with his Big Bad University colleagues Mark Rosas and Shwayze for a remixed version of the song “Imagination,” which was written by Little Airplane's Josh Selig and originally performed by children’s TVs’ animated singing sensations the Small Potatoes.

The hip hop version of “Imagination,” remixed by Mark Rosas and featuring Shwayze, can be found on Sky Blu’s first solo album Rebel Music, released recently on July 4, 2013. The album is available as a free download at bigbad.com.  The new track, produced by Mark Rosas and Josh Selig, will have a new animated video set to be released mid-July.

“We are so excited that artists of the calibre of Sky Blu, Mark Rosas and Shwayze have given the Small Potatoes song, “Imagination,” a grown-up, hip-hop twist,” says Small Potatoes’ creator and founder of Little Airplane Productions Josh Selig.  “Small Potatoes was created to celebrate music in all its forms and we’re thrilled that this song is being reinvented on such a high profile platform for a whole new audience”.

“Anytime one gets the opportunity to create music for children, it’s a blessing. I’m about showing others how to embrace their creative energy. We were able to make the song great for all ages. It was an honor indeed,” Sky Blu explains.

Producer and artist, Mark Rosas, expounds, “"Josh gave me gold when he made the samples featured in "Imagination." Sky Blu and Shwayze are pros so making this song was easy and fun. I think the song is a reflection of that."

The Small Potatoes animated series is produced by Little Airplane Productions and follows the adventures of a band of four singing potatoes. It is currently airing in over 15 different countries including the US, Canada, UK -where it airs on CBeebies, and Australia.  The Small Potatoes Facebook page has recently surpassed 1.75 million "likes" making it the most popular preschool brand on Facebook.
