Lisa Hill New PR Guru for Cosgrove Hall Films

Lisa Hill joins Cosgrove Hall Filmsin the U.K. as PR and marketing manager, as the studio, the birthplace of childrens classics -- including DANGERMOUSE and COUNT DUCKULA -- celebrates its 30th anniversary and embarks on a new era by developing a slate of new programs.

Hill has six years PR and marketing experience and is an associate member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (ACIPR). She has spent the last three years raising the profile of North West Vision (the film, TV and digital media agency for Englands North West).

We feel she possesses the essential skills and experience to help us promote the work of Cosgrove Hall and its clients as we embark on a new chapter of creating innovative childrens programs for audiences all over the world.

I grew up watching many of Cosgrove Halls award-winning programs and am fascinated by the world of animation, said Hill. I feel very privileged to join the company and am looking forward to building and strengthening the reputation of Cosgrove Hall through promoting the companys studio to hire arm of activity and, in particular, through its new development slate of IP (intellectual properties) programs.

Cosgrove Halls management team has recently been restructured through the appointment of Francis Vose as creative director, Chris Bowden as exec producer and Westley Wood as development producer.

Based in Chorlton, South Manchester, Cosgrove Hall was established in 1976 by Brian Cosgrove and Mark Hall. Earlier this month they received the coveted judges and best childrens program award (for Little Robots) at the annual North West Royal Television Society Awards (RTS) held in Manchester.Cosgrove is one of the few animation houses in the world working extensively in all three types of animation -- hand-drawn/2D, stop-motion puppet and CGI.
