THE LOS ANGELES TIMES is reporting that Lionsgate picked up the TERMINATOR franchise rights from the Halcyon Group.The studio's bid of $15 million in cash and 5 percent of gross receipts prevailed. The rights had been up for sale since September when the Halcyon Group made moves to work its way out of Chapter 11.
