Paramount is moving forward with Doug Liman's untitled moon film, reports Heat Vision. The story follows a rogue band of space workers who set out to steal and kidnap the items and people they need to get back to the moon in order to obtain a power source.
The project was first in development at DreamWorks with Jake Gyllenhaal set to star. Gyllenhaal has since moved on.
Liman has started meeting with actors, including Andrew Garfield, Emile Hirsch, Chris Pine, Rosario Dawson, Megan Fox, Rachel McAdams, Eva Mendes, Zoe Saldana and Olivia Wilde.
Mark Bowden, Ken Nolan and Simon Kinberg have all taken stabs at the script.
