Tribune Entertainment and DIC have entered into an advertising sales and administrative alliance, where Tribune will exclusively handle all domestic barter sales activities, as well as oversee back room operational services, for DIC's domestic syndication division. Among the DIC properties for which Tribune will handle barter sales are DIC's programming blocks of FCC qualified educational and informational programming. DIC is distributing three separate three-hour kids' blocks throughout the U.S., slated to begin airing in September 2003. DIC's catalog is one of the largest animation and children's programming libraries, featuring some of the most recognized titles in kids' entertainment, including SAILOR MOON, INSPECTOR GADGET, SABRINA THE TEENAGE WITCH, MADELINE and DENNIS THE MENACE.
